After just over a year together, four mini seasons and massive growth, Clapton Cageys FC 5-a-side team won our last match and claimed runner-up position
Now, you may know us as the ‘Cageys’ but this was the first time we’ve ever actually played competitive 5-a-side football…in a cage.
You might have already seen the celebrations online, but the Clapton Cageys 5-a-side team have won some silverware.

An outburst of Collective Joy and Radical Happiness from all the Clapton CFC players in attendance, who celebrated by running onto the pitch and into a jumping, screaming group embrace.
Football finally returned to The Old Spotted Dog Ground, and a great time was had on a bright, sunny day and a stonking £350 was raised.
A new Super 5s League season has just started and we have two CCFC teams taking part with largely new players.

We’ve had yet another strange season, but we’ve also had a lot of great footballing moments to celebrate.
