The newly-added Clapton CFC Men’s Over 35s team have their biggest match yet on Saturday, March 15 – taking on international opposition for the first time. Club Deportivo Parque Verde, from Leganés in Madrid, are the visitors for the match at Barn Elms in Barnes, SW13 9SA, kick off 10.30am. All support welcome.
This match promises to be more than just a fixture; it’s a cultural exchange. Will our heroes from East London rise to the occasion, or will they be left pondering the meaning of life (and football) over a pint?
About the opposition
