Clapton CFC Men’s First Team will face Meridian VP at home in the semi-final of the SCEFL Division One Cup. The game has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at the Old Spotted Dog Ground.

This is an extra competition launched last season to increase matches for teams in this division, which only has 18 teams.

We beat Halls Athletic 2-0 in the quarter-finals and Sporting Club Thamesmead 4-0 in the second round, having received a bye in the first round.

Last season Lewisham Borough beat promoted Larkfield & New Hythe 3-2 in the final, which was held on a Tuesday night at a neutral venue, Corinthians FC’s ground in Longfield in Kent.
