About Clapton Community FC and the Old Spotted Dog Ground Trust
Clapton Community FC is a grassroots, fan-owned, volunteer-run football club and a community benefit
society. We are deeply rooted in our local community, and everything we do is shaped by its needs.
The club owns the historic Old Spotted Dog Ground, the oldest senior football ground in London, situated in the heart of Forest Gate.
The ground is managed by the Old Spotted Dog Ground Trust, a registered charity whose objective is to maintain and improve the Old Spotted Dog Ground, and to provide sports, recreation and leisure facilities for the inhabitants of Newham and East London.
The grounds include a clubhouse and bar. Funds raised from the bar contribute directly to maintaining and improving the Old Spotted Dog Ground which serves as a vital hub for the area.
We are not a commercial venture; we operate in a way that reflects our commitment to community, inclusivity, and sustainability.
