Works on the alleyway behind the Old Spotted Dog Ground have begun again following a three-week break over Christmas.
As many of you attending games will have noticed, the pathway is almost complete. The patches that have yet to be filled that sit in between the path and our ground are going to be planters that will contain newly planted trees.
There will be a grass bank again behind the goal and the mound has been marked out.
The fencing work is due to begin this week, now that we have received delivery of a new 20ft long container. This is shared with the local charity One Newham and sits next to the warehouse and behind the clubhouse.
A new turnstile booth has been designed and agreed with the contractors and they have offered a day’s labour to help build it. We may require some volunteers to help finish this once this day has been completed by them but more on that at some point in the near future.
