Clapton CFC Women’s Reserves Team have been accepted into the Greater London Women’s Football League and allocated into Division 2 North.

Head coach Amii Griffith and assistant Johanna Kuosa will lead the team as it makes its first foray into Sunday football. The GLWFLD2N is within the women’s football pyramid and the team will be playing three divisions below our Women’s First Team.

Home games are taking place at Hackney Marshes on Sunday mornings at 10.30am – the same time and venue as our Men’s Development Team play in the Hackney & Leyton League Premier Division.

The league season begins on September 8 at home against Tower Hamlets Reserves and another 10 fixtures have been set already up until Christmas – see the full fixture list here.

The team is a successor to the Women/NB Development Team, which played in the London Women’s Saturday Football League.
