The Clapton CFC men’s first team will join the Eastern Counties League First Division South next season after our promotion as Middlesex County Football League champions.

There will be 22 teams in this Step 6 division, which means lots more games, and we look forward to making new friends and reacquainting ourselves with some old friends.

Most well known are NW London, our old rivals from their MCFL days, while we faced Hutton in the BBC Essex Premier Cup.

We’ve also played friendlies against Barkingside, Dunmow Town, Enfield Borough and Hackney Wick before.

The season is set to begin on Saturday, July 29.
