There’s a new returnable cup scheme in operation at The Old Spotted Dog Ground, home of Clapton Community FC.

We’ve switched to returnable, reusable pint and half-pint cups and ditched the single use plastic.

The scheme is simple – just pay a £2 deposit when you buy your drink, which will be refunded when you return the cup to the bar. If you’d rather keep the cup as a memento, you’re welcome to take it home.

This change will save thousands of single use plastic over the course of the season.

Of course you don’t need a cup if you buy a can – but you’re welcome to do so if you want.

The design on the cups is the same artwork as on the Old Scaffold Daze cans produced by Pretty Decent Brewery.
