The 12 teams who will be in the London & South East Regional Women’s Football League Division One North have been announced by the FA today.
Clapton CFC Women’s First Team will be joined by most of last season’s opponents in Brentford, Dulwich Hamlet Reserves, AFC Whyteleafe, Actonians Reserves, Denham United, Hackney, Ashmount Leigh and Richmond Park – though the latter are now renamed as Hampton & Richmond.
There are three new names in the division – Bromley, who have been laterally moved from the L&SRWFL D1 South, plus promoted teams Leatherhead and Richmond & Kew.
We say farewell to Sport London e Benfica, who are promoted, and Camden & Islington United, who were relegated.
These allocations are subject to approval at upcoming League AGMs and any subsequent appeals.
