Admission prices for Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League games

Clapton CFC Men's First Team news News

You may remember that Clapton CFC had to change its admission prices this season following promotion to the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League. That was because the FA has a minimum admission charge for games within the top 10 tiers of the football pyramid.

That means for Clapton CFC men’s first team home league games, we charge £4 standard admission and pay what you want for concessions, and free for under 13s. You can see full details of the concessions policy here.

We’ve taken a look at the websites and social media accounts for our friends in the division to discover their price lists and it’s generally pretty reasonable.

The average price across the division for standard admission is about £6, and for concessions it’s about £4. Many clubs offer free admission to children of different ages.

There are 6 teams charging £5, 9 at £6, 3 at £7 and 3 at £8. Those on the higher end generally have their own ground (with increasing upkeep costs) and played at a higher level where prices are usually higher.
