Clapton CFC are looking for 2 part-time head coaches, 1 for the Women’s First Team (W1T) and 1 for the Women’s and Non-Binary Players’ Development Team (WDT).
We are looking for innovative coaches who can contribute to the continued development of our teams, and play a key role in driving our success through the design of game-realistic training sessions. We believe the ability to design sessions that mirror real-game scenarios will be instrumental in our preparation for the season. We highly value coaches who can effectively equip our players with the necessary skills and tactical awareness to excel on the pitch.
Coaching levels and desired prior experience
Women’s First Team:
UEFA B/Level 2
Women’s and Non-binary Development Team:
UEFA C/Level 1
Overall experience
- Prior experience working with children
- Prior experience working within women’s football
- Up-to-date first aid and safeguarding for all certificates

Job role
Design and deliver top quality training sessions every week (building on strengths and weaknesses from the team and individual performances). Team selection and strategy on match days.
The ideal candidates will be able to work effectively across the matchday team as well as maintaining values and culture in both internal and external environments.
You will be able to build strong relationships with players to support their development, understanding individual differences in skill and experience, as well as being enthusiastic, passionate, caring and committed.
Training:
Currently every Thursday, between 8-10pm in East London (joint W1T and WDT training)
Matches:
Women’s First Team: Old Spotted Dog Ground, Sundays at 2pm (home), Sundays all over Greater London (away).
Women’s and Non-binary Development Team: Currently Tooting Common, every other Saturday at either 12pm or 2pm (there is a possibility this will change).
Pay
Women’s First Team:
£70-75 per week training is delivered
Women’s and Non-binary Development Team:
£40-70 per week training is delivered
About the teams and club
Our Women’s First Team play in the London & South East Regional League Division 1 North (tier 6), and also take part in the FA Cup. Our Women’s and Non-binary Development Team currently play in the London Women’s Saturday Football League.
