The rearranged Clapton CFC men’s first team game at Stonewall FC takes place on Tuesday, May 2.
The East London derby is at Stonewall’s home ground, the London Marathon Stadium in Stratford, and is all-ticket due to the capacity of 300.
All tickets have sold out but keep an eye on Stonewall’s Eventbrite page for any returns.
CCFC are in first place and need a point to seal the title from this game or two final games against OIR.
Promotion has been secured on the pitch already but still depends on the Old Spotted Dog Ground passing the ground grading requirements too. We expect to find out that in mid May.
Meanwhile in-form Stonewall FC are in sixth place in the Middlesex County Football League Premier Division and are unbeaten in five games, three of which were wins.
Previous meetings have nearly always been goal-fests – an average of four goals a match – and over 3,000 people have been through the turnstiles.
Bring the camaraderie, noise and passion that has historically made this one of the fixtures of the year.

Post-match
Whilst the pitch floodlights will be turned off at 10:30pm, Stonewall have arranged for the stands to remain lit until 11:30pm for a post-match social at the stadium. Ticket holders are therefore invited to remain in the viewing area for drinks, snacks, and post-match analysis until this time. We ask all ticket holders to respect these timings and vacate the stadium by 11:30pm.
Feel free to bring your own drinks and food for both the match and post-match social, but be mindful to take your rubbish with you, or dispose of it carefully on leaving.
