The table-topping Clapton CFC host Kodak (Harrow) on Saturday as we look to consolidate our position at the top of the table.
Geoff Ocran’s team are back on the Hackney Marshes for a third time this season, having beaten both Cricklewood Wanderers and CB Hounslow United Reserves there.
We are definitely on the show pitch this time, right next to the Hackney Marshes Centre, which houses a cafe, bar and roof terrace overlooking the pitch.
Hopefully this will be one of the last home games we need to play away from the Old Spotted Dog Ground as we look to bring it up to scratch.
These two teams met for the first time in November, with Clapton CFC grinding out a very tough win 3-1.
CCFC are 8 points clear at the top of the table and in fine form, winning 7 of the last 8 games since our meeting with Kodak.
Our visitors meanwhile are in the top half themselves and have won the last two games on the bounce.
There are ten games left in the season and plenty of football left to play. With only one team promoted, there’s no room for error. Come and cheer on the team.
