Stonewall FC have given us early notice that due to a frozen pitch with little prospect of it thawing, Saturday’s game against our men’s first team is postponed.

The East London derby, at the London Marathon Community Stadium in Stratford, will now be rescheduled for sometime in 2023, hopefully in warmer times.

That’s it for 2022, except for the Mark Thomas gig (Friday night) and our club Christmas party (Saturday night) at the Old Spotted Dog Ground Clubhouse.

Mark Thomas is the first comedian to perform at the OSD since we bought the ground. It’s pretty much sold out but any remaining tickets or returns can be booked via Eventbrite, at £6 plus booking fee.

Doors will open for our Christmas party at 3pm on Saturday now, and it’s open till 9pm. There’s a 10-piece surf band, 15 minute DJ slots, raffle and more.

If you opted to collect a shirt or hat from the OSD and still haven’t done so, these are your last two chances before Christmas.
