Next up for the men’s first team away game is a trip to form side Stonewall FC on Saturday in what unusually is an all-ticket game.
The spectator capacity for Stonewall’s home ground, the London Marathon Stadium in Stratford, is just 300 as the only place to sit or stand is in the main stand.
All 300 free tickets were snapped up within days.
If you have a ticket and can’t come, please do follow the link on your order email to cancel so it can be reallocated.
If you don’t have a ticket, you can join the waiting list for returns from the Eventbrite page here for CCFC fans, and here for Stonewall fans.
You can make a donation to Stonewall FC, and/or the club’s official charity Mermaids, at bucket collections at the game.
This will be part of Football v Homophobia month and there will also be a social event after the game for Stonewall and Clapton CFC fans.
Stonewall are the runaway form side in the Middlesex County Football League right now, winning all four games in 2022, including against the two promotion favourites FC Soma and NW London.
They’ve now stormed up the table into fifth, just behind CCFC in third, while we shared a goalless draw earlier in the season.
Previous games between our teams have nearly always been goal-fests – an average of more than four goals a match – and 2,631 people have been through the turnstiles.
