The 2020/21 season is over, but Clapton CFC Women’s First and Development Team are already planning for the future.
We are planning to host two open trial dates. One on 6 June, and one in mid-August (date to be confirmed).
The First Team play in Greater London Women’s Football League (Premier Division). We finished 3rd this season. The Development Team currently play in Clapham Women’s Saturday Football League (First Division), with aims of joining the GLWFL for the 2022/2023 season.
We are looking for committed and competitive players for both teams, but we also need you to be also committed to Clapton’s accountability policy and our anti-racism and anti-discrimination ethos.
We are a welcoming and inclusive space for players of all backgrounds and ethnicities.
Clapton CFC isn’t just a football club, it’s a big part of our community. We want players to get involved with outreach programmes, and there are plenty of chances throughout the season to do so.
