Exciting news! We’re going to be entering a beginners’ team in the Super 5 Women’s League in Mabley Green, Hackney.
A few dozen CCFC fans came along to Mabley Green on November 26th to cheer them on in their first ever friendly.
Despite a great performance, they lost 7-2 against the women’s team formed by top football magazine Mundial, who were also playing their first ever game.
Our goalscorers were Hana Francis and Rhiane Wright.
The league will start in January with games 20 minutes each way with fixtures to follow.

The team is borne out of the club’s free weekly open training sessions for women and non-binary people who are either beginners and returners to the game.
