There has been a change in the line-up for the Southern Counties East Football League Division One, to which the Clapton CFC Men’s First Team are transferring for the 2024/25 season.
Clapton FC have withdrawn to be replaced by Greenways FC, who were relegated but now get a reprieve.
The league’s official statement reads
“Following confirmation of the resignation from the NLS of Clapton FC (not to be confused with Clapton Community FC who remain in the SCEFL first Division) Greenways FC have had their relegation from the SCEFL first division reprieved so that they will now be included in SCEFL 1st for the coming season.“
Additionally, K Sports have renamed as Sheppey Sports, and Tower Hamlets as Soul Tower Hamlets.
